Letterman’s Jokes About Palin, Calls for Apology

The president of a national women’s public policy group on Thursday blasted David Letterman’s “offensive” jokes about Sarah Palin and her daughter and called on the CBS late-night host to formally apologize.

“There’s a saying that out of the heart, the mouth speaks, and Letterman’s statement reveals a pretty ugly reflection of who Letterman may be,” Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America, told FOXNews.com.

This is Wendy Wright. Wendy is the ‘President’ of the C.W.A, or Concerned Women of America and she is demanding an apology from David Letterman. Here is an excerpt from the CWA website, just to give you a little background.

One sentence for you Wendy. Separation of church and state! Go away already with your turn of the century ideals. In fact why don’t you sail a ship across the ocean and fall off the flat side.

Mission Statement

The mission of CWA is to protect and promote Biblical values among all citizens – first through prayer, then education, and finally by influencing our society – thereby reversing the decline in moral values in our nation.

Good idea Wendy. Why don’t we force public schools to teach the utterly absurd concept of ‘Creationism’ and while we are at it why don’t we condemn all non-Christians to death.

Statement of Faith

* We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired, inerrant Word of God and the final authority on faith and practice.

* We believe Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death, rose bodily from the dead on the third day and ascended into Heaven from where He will come again to receive all believers unto Himself.

* We believe all men are fallen creations of Adam’s race and in need of salvation by grace through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

* We believe it is our duty to serve God to the best of our ability and to pray for a moral and spiritual revival that will return this nation to the traditional values upon which it was founded.

Wendy? Excuse me Wendy? What about all the rest of us who don’t believe in Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy, the Boogieman, or other imaginary concepts? Since you are the voice of the desperate, the lonely, the scared, the childish, the illogical, who will hear the voice of the rational, logical, educated people?

Please Mr. Letterman for the love that is all good in the world tell Wendy Wright and all her righteous, phony, hypocritical, overzealous, fanatical, public policy terrorists to ‘FUCK OFF’.

There is no reasoning with people of faith since their faith isn’t dictated by reason.
