I hope the Iranian people have enough will and determination to push Mahmoud Ahmadinejad out of the country. I spend a lot of time bashing people for the hypocritical things they do and pointing out injustices in the world, so it’s only fair I point out the good too.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, speaking at anti-abortion group’s dinner, criticized President Barack Obama for supporting abortion rights and challenged the idea that unplanned pregnancies are a nuisance that can be solved by abortion.
Palin said the challenges she faced during her pregnancy with her son Trig, who was born with Down syndrome, gave her an opportunity to live out her anti-abortion beliefs. She said she prayed often during her pregnancy, especially after tests revealed that her son would be born with the condition.
“The moment he was born, I knew that moment my prayers had been answered,” Palin said. “Trig is a miracle. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I want other women to have that opportunity.”
She challenged the notion that children must be born perfect and that unplanned pregnancies are inconvenient and can be ended by abortion. “I know for sure my son is perfect just as he is, made in the image of God,” she said. Source: Fox News Channel
This is not your usual STOP sign. The Wisconsin chapter of the Right To Life group (Palin spoke at the Evansville, Ind. chapter) has launched the ‘STOP FOCA’ campaign which is aimed at preventing President Obama’s piece of legislation titled ‘Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA)’ from passing. The Right To Life group hides under the auspices of concern for the health of women in their fight against FOCA, but if you visit their site you will see it is a religious agenda which attacks Stem Cell Research and Assisted Euthanasia as well as abortion rights.
There is no other political candidate on the U.S. landscape who scares me more than Sarah Palin. Palin will run for President in the 2012 election and I will go on record stating if she wins, I will leave the United States.
Sarah Palin is a certifiable loon, uninformed and unable to speak intelligently, or with any degree of authority on so many political issues, yet she will receive votes en mass by other loons who share her religious ideology. Palin demonstrates her drive, her mission, her duty to not only spread the word of God, but to subject all of us to her beliefs.
He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I want other women to have that opportunity.
Women of America I hope you are paying attention. Sarah Palin wants you to have the same opportunity she had which was to not have an opportunity to decide for yourself on an abortion (it is against her religion so she had no choice). Tell me if I am wrong, but women still have the opportunity to go through with the birth should they choose, or has abortion become mandatory?
I would like to express my thoughts to Sarah Palin regarding her speech at the anti-abortion dinner. Fuck off Sarah! No one gives a shit that you want other women to experience what you did! Thank your own God for providing you with a disabled baby, not anything like the perfect deity known as God, or the Lord and savior Jesus Christ, or anyone else on this planet who is not mentally handicapped and burdened for life with a horrendous condition.
The little girl pictured below is one of countless children sitting in mental hospitals waiting to be adopted. Why aren’t the Right To Life crusaders rushing to adopt these children into loving religious homes? The reason is because they are all full of shit and only care about infringing their fundamentalist, fanatical religious doctrine on you and when the mental and financial burden is to much to care for a severely handicapped child you are demonized as an unfit mother and your child is considered a strain on the taxpayers.
How selfish is Sarah Palin to acknowledge the birth of her mentally handicapped son as a ‘Miracle’. If you asked any mentally handicapped individual whether their disability was a ‘Miracle’ or a ‘Disaster’ what do you think their response would be? How the hell is it miraculous to be born with any handicap? Your child is not perfect and no one would wish any disability on their own baby, let alone call it a ‘Miracle’. Quack!
If Sarah Palin, God forbid (pun intended) were to be elected President, do you think it’s possible to perform a reverse exorcism and drive God out of her?

Our nation has chosen for its chief executive the most radical pro-abortion politician ever to serve in the United States Senate or to run for president…Voting for a pro-abortion politician when a plausible pro-life alternative exits constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil, and those Catholics who do so place themselves outside of the full communion of Christ’s Church and under the judgment of divine law. Persons in this condition should not receive Holy Communion until and unless they are reconciled to God in the Sacrament of Penance, lest they eat and drink their own condemnation.
Apparently Rev. Newman has little regard for separation of Church and State, but even less regard for Democracy. I spent some time on Rev. Newman’s personal page and read a thought provoking editorial titled A Gender Gap in the Church? in which the Reverend articulately debates both sides of the position on allowing female priests in the Catholic Church, but his position on President-Elect Obama crosses the line.
Rev. Newman sets a very dangerous precedent for all Catholics who if faced with the choice of two candidates who are both pro-life then who would the faithful vote for, or if at all? With over 69,000,000, or 23% of the entire US population professing to be Catholic the affect of a massive write in, or no vote campaign would be historic and damaging to our Democracy should the faithful be deterred from breaking ranks with the Church on a candidate.
There are more reasons people consider other than abortion rights when selecting a candidate for President and to disregard these factors which weigh on people when deciding whom to vote is to thumb your nose at their existence outside the church. By insinuating you are not a ‘good’ Catholic because you voted for a candidate whose views differ than the Church is manipulative, fear inducing and guilt baiting which is exactly the reason I know longer consider myself a Catholic.
If the Catholic Church wants more young people to attend service and embrace their religious ideology the Church needs to provide thought provoking information instead of trying to scare them into it.
